We operate a network of small, homely residences offering 24/7 care for children and young people who cannot live with their families. Each home accommodates a small number of children to ensure a nurturing, family‑like environment.
Our staff are trained to understand behaviour as a form of communication. They employ trauma‑informed approaches and positive behaviour support to help children feel safe and valued
We work closely with education, health and social care professionals to create individual care plans, ensuring that children’s physical, emotional, mental and educational needs are met
Our homes are high‑quality buildings with spaces for nurture, privacy and activity. The physical environment is safe and secure and risk assessments are regularly reviewed
Children are valued and nurtured as individuals with their own talents, strengths and capabilities. We listen to their wishes and feelings and involve them in decisions about their lives.
We support children to develop trusting, respectful relationships with carers and peers through shared activities, daily routines and clear boundaries. Building relationships of trust and understanding is a foundation of good practice
Our practice protects and promotes children’s rights and encourages them to express their views. Staff recognise their responsibility to understand each child’s needs and triggers and to find solutions that keep everyone safe
Our homes work with families and community professionals to sustain links, understand past problems and help children achieve their ambitions
